When Will Alexa.com Shut Down?
Alexa.com, which allows you to obtain detailed data about websites in line with the statements made by Amazon , will be closed on May 1, 2022 . That means it’s been the last few months of the online service. Alexa.com no longer approves new paid subscriptions, but if you already have one, you’ll be able to use it until May 1, 2022.
” Twenty-five years ago we founded Alexa Internet. After two decades of helping you find, reach and transform your digital audience, we made the difficult decision to retire Alexa.com on May 1, 2022, ” the company’s official statement states.
In the statement made by Amazon, no information was shared about why Alexa.com was closed, but it is a known fact that the service is reaching fewer users every day. In other words, Alexa Internet does not seem like a popular service anymore and Amazon may have wanted to end the business here.
Alexa.com users will be able to access their accounts and continue to benefit from the services until the expiration date of May 1, 2022. You can also export data in your account before this date. Similarly, data from tools will also be exportable.
